Perched dramatically on a cliff edge, this stadium is conceived as a luminous icon—inside and out—where light sculpts space and experience. From retractable roof to LED façade to immersive interior zones, lighting is woven into the architecture, shifting with events and moods. The system adapts dynamically, responding to crowd, performance mode, and time. Every corner glows not just for visibility but for storytelling and connection. Here, engineering and artistry unite in a stadium that never simply “turns on” the lights—it becomes light.

This groundbreaking venue redefines what a stadium can be, by making lighting its dynamic backbone. Through integrated LED walls, responsive façade illumination, and interior zones that sense and adapt, the entire complex becomes a living canvas. Whether for sport, concert, esports, or spectacle, light transforms the structure, transitions between moods, and connects performers, fans, and city. The design fuses innovation, sustainability, and narrative—crafting a new paradigm where a stadium is not only seen, but experienced as light.

The challenges

The results are nothing short of transformation: the world’s first stadium whose inner life and outer presence are entirely dynamic and responsive. Light becomes performance in its own right, amplifying events and creating emotional resonance. The exterior becomes a beacon in the skyline, while interiors feel integrated, intimate and adaptable. Energy performance is optimized through intelligent control, matching illumination to need while minimizing waste. For spectators, the experience is immersive; for the city, it becomes a new landmark of innovation and ambition.

The Solutions

The solution lies in a fully integrated lighting ecosystem that spans exterior and interior, structure and surface. The retractable roof, pitch, and LED wall are synchronized with advanced control systems to shift seamlessly between modes. Exterior façades become dynamic canvases; interior zones sense human presence and respond with layered light. The LED “portal” can display immersive content or retract to frame city views. Spectrum, intensity, and timing calibrate not just for aesthetics, but comfort, safety, and energy efficiency. Together this lighting architecture enables the stadium to shape its identity moment to moment.
